Scars of Life is a 5-piece nu-metal band from South Florida.

history

Scars of Life was founded in 1999 in Pompano Beach , FL: It has its origins in a heavy metal band called Confined in 1999. However, the band members at the time did not agree with their style, so they made a complete change. What came out of it was Scars of Life . They released two albums and two EPs in total. In 2006 the single Alone Inside was released.

In 2006 singer Kyle Shapiro, who had also been with Confined , decided that it was best to leave the band. The remaining four members of Scars of Life immediately started a search for a new singer, whom they found in March 2006, and entered the studio again. With the inclusion of Frankie "Footer" Kalin in the band, a name change to Burning Red and a change of music style followed.

In 2011 the band announced that they would like to continue their old lead singer with Kyle Shapiro. You are about to put together a new album.

In May 2014, the musicians announced the renewed breakup of the band on their Facebook page.
