Mining money

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

When prospecting money it was originally about the reward that a miner after a successful discovery of a new Erzganges received.

Later it also referred to advances with which the miners could cover their running costs or (state) loans . Public funds (e.g. fees) were often collected for this purpose in special mining money coffers and then paid out to the miners.
