Scha'ul ben Anan
Scha'ul ben Anan or Saul ben Anan (Hebrew שאול בן ענן ) was a political and spiritual leader of the Jewish Karaites in the late 8th century AD.
His father was Anan ben David , a founder of the Karaite religious beliefs. Sha'ul succeeded him as Nasi and Rosh ha-gola (spiritual head) of the Karaites.
He may have died around 780. No other information about his life is known.
