The Sudweyher Beeke is a left tributary of the Süstedter Bach in the Sudweyhe district of the Weyhe municipality in the Diepholz district .

Sudweyher Straße Sudweyher Beeke is named after the brook ; The street name Achter de Beeke ("Behind the stream") also refers to the stream.

course

The stream rises east of the Hache on Holtwischdamm opposite the Kirchweyher outdoor pool. From the village it flows to the east-northeast to Sudweyher Straße, then along this to the north, crosses the district Sudweyhe along the road (s) Achter de Beeke , circles the Brink and then runs east-northeast until it finally reaches the Süstedter above the Kirchweyher See Bach flows.

Flood

In the spring of 1970, as a result of melting snow and heavy rain, flooding in the Hache system occurred. Due to the dam of the Sudweyher mill at that time, a backwater occurred, which allowed the water from the Hache to get into the Sudweyher Beeke. This in turn overflowed its banks, so that Sudweyhe was also flooded. In 1999 the main stream of the Hache was routed around the mill dam; since then, even larger amounts of water no longer lead to flooding there.
