Schachenauel

Schachenauel was a settlement in what is now the area of ​​the city of Lohmar ( Neuhonrath district ) in the Rhein-Sieg district , North Rhine-Westphalia .

In 1885 the village had 31 houses with 120 inhabitants. An aerial photo plan on a scale of 1: 5,000 from 1964 has been preserved and digitized in the land registry office. Schachenauel stands since 1644 in the lifting registers of the Office Blankenberg and in the 19th century, the second largest settlement place in the mayor's Wahlscheid .
