The Šiauliai Station is a train station in the city of Siauliai in northern Lithuania . It is operated by the Lithuanian State Railways Lietuvos ležinkeliai . The station on the Kaišiadorys – Liepāja railway line was opened in 1871 by the Libau-Romny Railway . In 1916 the line to Jelgava ( Mitau ) was opened.
