Schalghysqudyq ( Kazakh Жалғызқұдық ; Russian Жангызкудук , Schangyskuduk , formerly Джангиз-Кудук , Dschangis-Kuduk ) is a village in the Aqmola region in Kazakhstan .
It is located about 75 km south-southwest of the capital Nur-Sultan in the Zelinograd Rajon and has almost 2000 inhabitants (2009).
The place had around 3000 inhabitants until 1995, of which around 85% were of German descent. The majority subsequently emigrated to Germany.
