Switch gate
Switch points are used to distribute bulk material flows optionally in two or three conveyor lines and are welded constructions made mostly of structural , stainless or special steels , depending on the type of bulk material.
The two-way versions have symmetrical or asymmetrical outlets. The bulk goods can be in powder form up to coarse piece goods, depending on the size of the switch. Switching points can be designed for different temperature ranges. In order to determine the tightness and possible wear even when installed, the switching tongue (actual switching element) and / or the sealing strips can normally be checked and replaced if necessary via a maintenance opening.
