The formwork manufacturer produces the formwork required for concrete , reinforced concrete or prestressed concrete construction . He provides them with the reinforcements , usually prefabricated by the iron binder , builds the concrete , compacts it, dismantles the hardened concrete part and treats it if necessary.

Situation in Austria

The apprenticeship period is three years. Apprentices are trained in the dual system . After completing the apprenticeship and at the age of 18, the master craftsman examination can be taken.
