Schanzenhöfe
Schanze courtyards is the name for one in the Hamburg Schanzenviertel located building complex with several different usage offers. The area is located in the corner between Schanzenstrasse and Lagerstrasse and is delimited to the north by the Hamburg branch of the Federal Railway Authority and the Sternschanze S-Bahn station directly behind it . Adjacent are, among other things, the industrial area of the meat wholesale market and to the east the new buildings of the Hamburg fair .
The buildings are partly the cattle market halls built in 1896, which were leased from the meat wholesale market in Hamburg. Instead of carrying out the planned demolition, private successor users were won over to the renovated and partly newly constructed parts of the building from 2012, including restaurants, cafés and a music kindergarten as sub-tenants.
