The treasure of Boscoreale is a deposit found in 1895 in the so-called Villa Pisanella - a villa rustica in Boscoreale (on the southern slope of Vesuvius ) - consisting of 109 parts . Most of the finds come from the early imperial era . In addition to some simple vessels, it is particularly impressive with its masterfully crafted bowls and mugs. The best known are the Augustus, Tiberius and skeleton beakers.

Most of the treasure came to the Musée National du Louvre in Paris as a gift from Edmond de Rothschild in 1895 , while the remaining parts were also given as a gift in 1990.
