Schauenberg (noble family)
Schauenberg is the name of an extinct Zurich noble family with the ancestral seat Burg Schauenberg (destroyed in the middle of the 14th century). Relatives were knights as early as the 13th century . As such, they were in the service of the Abbot of St. Gallen .

The coat of arms is split from silver and red according to the Zurich coat of arms. Two hip horns on the bucket helmet , the one on the right silver, the one on the left red, with a red fetter on the right and silver on the left.
