The Schauertal in Streitberg (Markt Wiesenttal , Forchheim district , Bavaria ) is a street that runs uphill from the center of Streitberg, framed by rocks and the Streitberg castle ruins , past parking spaces for visitors to the Bing cave , towards Störnhof.

In the upper part of the Schauertal valley, the Wedenbach rises with a waterfall , sintered terraces and a water wheel , along which a paved, easily accessible path (some with stairs) leads. The Wedenbach is also partly integrated into the geological adventure trail. The Wedenbach is open to the beginning of the village center, then flows under Streitberg, has been exposed again in the Wagnersgarten park and flows into the Wiesent at the bridge to Niederfellendorf (towards the family swimming pool) .

The Schauertal is direct access to the Bing cave , the Streitberg castle ruins, the Wiesenttaler Oberland (in the direction of the Bamberg and Bayreuth districts), several limestone cliffs with registered climbing routes and many hiking trails and viewpoints in and around Streitberg .
