The Sheikh Khalifa International Stadium ( Arabic ستاد الشيخ خليفة الدولي) is a stadium in al-Ain .
The Arab first division soccer team Al Ain Club has played its home games in this stadium since the 2006/07 season . The stadium holds 12,000 spectators, making it one of the smaller stadiums in the United Arab Emirates .
The stadium was the venue for seven games of the 1996 Asian Cup and eight games of the 2003 Junior World Cup .
