Mention in the anniversaries

The Book of Jubilees adds a Kainam to the genealogy between Arpachschad and Schelach . This is given as the son of Arpachschad and his wife Nasueja, the daughter of Susan (8,1). The parents of Schelach are therefore Kainam and his wife Melka, daughter of the Madai mentioned in Gen 10.2  EU (8.5). Schelach's wife is called Muak, daughter of Kesed (8,6).

Taking over the additional generation with Cainam, the family tree of Jesus in Lk 3.36  EU also goes back to this tradition. The name is rendered with Kenan.
