Fridolfing's police office

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Schergenamt Fridolfing was a police office in Fridolfing , today a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein , which was probably created in the 14th century.

The henchman's office of the Archbishopric of Salzburg was initially subordinate to the Lebenau Nursing Court and, after its dissolution, came to the Tittmoning Nursing Court in 1608 .

The Fridolfing henchman's office remained in existence until the prince-archbishop's rule was dissolved in 1803 as part of secularization . Like the entire Rupertiwinkel, Fridolfing came to the Kingdom of Bavaria in 1810 and became a political municipality in 1818.
