The club FC Sunkar ( Kazakh : Жетысу-Сұңқар Талдықорған , Russian : Футбольный клуб Сункар Каскелен / Жетысу-Сункар ) was a Kazakh football club from the city of Taldykorgan . Until the end of the 2013 season, the club played under the name Sunkar and was based in Qaskeleng .
history
The club was founded in 2004 as Karasai Sarbasdary and played in the second highest Kazakh league . After renaming in 2010, the team won the championship in the second highest league in 2011 and rose to the premjer league , but had to relegate again at the end of the season. In January 2014 it was decided to move the team to Taldykorgan and to rename it to Schetissu-Sunkar. At the end of the season, the club was dissolved.

After moving to Taldyqorghan, the club played its home games in the Shetissu Stadium, which has a capacity of 5,500 .
