Udo Schickhoff

Udo Schickhoff (born October 26, 1960 in Arnsberg-Neheim ) is Professor of Physical Geography at the Institute for Geography at the University of Hamburg .

Life

Schickhoff studied geography, botany, geology and sociology in Bochum and Münster from 1981 to 1988, and received his doctorate from the University of Münster in 1993 . In 1999 he completed his habilitation at the University of Bonn. Since 2004 he has been Professor of Geography at the Institute for Geography at the University of Hamburg. He belongs to the working group Biogeography and Landscape Ecology.
