Locking mechanism

A zipper storage bag (also Gleitverschlussbeutel ) is a bag made of plastic with a sealing strip made of two interlocking profiles. Like a zipper, it can be closed almost airtight with a slider. The bag can be easily opened and closed again, making it reusable.

A similar closure principle is used for ziplock bags.
