Battle of Stuhm

The Battle of Hönigfelde (Polish Bitwa pod Trzcianą ) was a battle during the Swedish-Polish Wars 1600–1629 in the run-up to the Treaty of Altmark . It took place near Hönigfelde on June 27, 1629. In this battle, the Swedish troops under King Gustav Adolf suffered a heavy defeat against Polish troops under Hetman Stanisław Koniecpolski and imperial auxiliary troops under Hans Georg von Arnim-Boitzenburg . King Gustav Adolf escaped only with luck.
