Sleep Sheep (alternative title: SchlafSchaf.TV ) is a German cartoon series from 2014 that is dedicated to biblical stories.

The plot is told in the form of a bedtime story and shows biblical events on specific topics. With a lively, easy-to-understand representation of characters and language, the series is aimed at children and adults. The three main characters are the sleeping sheep, donkey and pig.

Production and publication

SchlafSchaf.TV  is a joint project of the Biblical Association and ERF Medien and is financed exclusively through donations . As author was Harry Voss worked and for the illustrations Anna Karina Birkenstock . The responsible producer is Thorsten Scholl.

The series first aired from January 6, 2014 to December 29, 2014 on ERF 1 . The series is currently broadcast between Mondays and Fridays at 1:55 p.m. on Bible TV . The individual subject blocks appeared as eight DVDs for sale .
