Bedroom view

Marilyn Monroe with typical bedroom view (1961)

The bedroom view is, according to Google , a "stressed sensual look [a woman] with not quite open eyelids [is to act aphrodisiac]". Marilyn Monroe and Vicky Leandros were known for their bedroom look .

A 2012 study, on the other hand, found that a man with lowered eyelids was less attractive to women than with his eyes open, especially with regard to a long-term relationship. In addition, lowered eyelids were associated with shorter-term mating strategies.

If one or both eyelids hang down permanently, congenitally or due to illness, this is medically referred to as ptosis . This is also sometimes referred to as the bedroom view.
