Schlandnet
Schlandnet is a slightly ironic political catchphrase that paraphrases the idea that Internet traffic between two German offices is not routed abroad. The idea was controversially discussed by various politicians, media and IT experts as a possible response to the Snowden affair . The term “Schlandnet” was particularly popular in the tech-savvy online community, for example on Twitter and in the Chaos Computer Club .
