history

In 964, Margrave Gero mentioned the place in a list of goods for the Gernrode monastery as Scolene . A hoof belonged to the pen there. In 1267 the abbess of the Gerbstedt monastery , Jutta, bought back half a hoof and a yard for her monastery in the village. The place is called Slavis . They then also determined how the income was used. 1456 enfeoffed Archbishop Friedrich III. the brothers Hans, Martin and Veseke von Westeregeln and also Hans Stoibe with goods in the settlement, including half a shock from a farm and a hoof in Slobe . Afterwards his successor Johann enfeoffed the brothers Hans and Martin Westeregeln again in 1468 with half a shock from a farm and a hoof, while the village is again called Slobe , as in 1456 .

The same enfeoffed Hans Dorn in 1472 with u. a. two hooves and two yards and then called the village Slobe again . His successor Ernst then enfeoffed Hans and Martin Westeregeln again in 1478 with half a shock of one hoof and one yard and a year later Hans Dorn again with one hoof and two yards in the so-called Slobe . Another year later he enfeoffed Heinrich von Krosigk with goods in the village and four years later, in 1484, he also enfeoffed Jürgen von Ammendorf with goods such as a desolate farm and a hoof in the village, which he then called Slobitz .
