Miroslav "Mika" Antić (born March 14, 1932 in Mokrin ; † June 24, 1986 in Novi Sad ) was a Yugoslav writer, journalist, screenwriter and painter. His ties to Vojvodina are clear in his works .
Life
Antić attended high school in Kikinda and Pancevo . He studied literature in Belgrade . After that he always lived in Novi Sad. Miroslav Antić's work includes poems, reports, dramas and film scripts, but also many paintings that were created towards the end of his life. His poems have become common knowledge in Vojvodina - there is hardly anyone there who does not know the poem “Vojvodina”. In this poem the emotional world of the Vojvodins is aptly represented. His children's poems from the book “Plavi čuperak” (The blonde madwoman) are compulsory literature in schools in Serbia. The ambiguity and variety of expression in his poetics made him one of the favorite authors of the 20th century in Yugoslavia.
