Schloßgattendorf (formerly also Gattendorf Castle) is a district of the municipality of Gattendorf in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .

The Gattendorf Castle is located in the district ; the previous castle was first mentioned in a document in 1294. Today's baroque palace was built in its place after 1700 . In 1804, Schloßgattendorf is mentioned in the Geographical Statistical-Topographical Lexicon of Franconia as a hamlet in the superintendent of Hof. As early as 1852 it was part of the Gattendorf community.

Schloßgattendorf has 129 main residences and is the second largest district of Gattendorf after Neugattendorf . Schloßgattendorf is located south of Neugattendorf and is traversed by the Quellitzbach .
