Belmont Castle (Andilly)
The Belmont Castle in Andilly , a French commune in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region Ile-de-France , was built in the late 16th century.
history
The two-storey castle with loft extension at No. 4 rue Aristide-Briand changed hands several times and belonged to Duchess Claire de Duras from 1817 to 1824 . It was then sold to Talleyrand , who left it to his niece and mistress Dorothée de Courlande.
During the 19th century, the inside of the building was changed significantly. After 1945 it served as a hotel and today the former castle is divided into several apartments.
