The Montsoreau Castle - Museum of Contemporary Art ( French : Château de Montsoreau-Musée d'art contemporain ) is a French museum of contemporary art in the Loire Valley in Montsoreau . The museum , which opened in 2016, is housed in Montsoreau Castle, which was converted for this purpose.
Museum and Collection
The museum's collection focuses on art after 1965 and has its origins in the Philippe Méaille collection . Conceptual art is particularly well represented, including works by international artists. Here is the world's largest collection of Art & Language works.
