The Naumburg Castle ( Polish Zamek w Nowogrodzie Bobrzańskim ) was a castle in today Polish nowogród bobrzański (Naumburg / Bober).
history
The castle was probably in the late 12th century under Bolesław I founded. In 1202 it is mentioned as Novum Castrum . After the border was moved further east, the castle lost its importance between 1210 and 1248. After 1248, however, the castle was expanded again. In 1310 the castle belonged to the dukes of Glogau . After 1700 the castle was demolished and a baroque palace was built. This was destroyed as a result of the Polish takeover of the region in 1945.
