location

The courtyard of the former Upper Castle was located near the town hall, which was built as a dairy building in 1811 . The palace garden, surrounded by an 18th century wall, is located between Dorfstrasse and Michaelstrasse and Eberhardstrasse. The site was built over from 1864 to 1885, with the wall being torn down. There are still remnants of the wall in Michaelstrasse.

The so-called Mittelschloss (property Gässle 6 and Dorfstraße 14) was probably located on the current Dorfstrasse . A little off the Langen Gasse, on the site of the dilapidated Lower Castle, which was demolished in 1699 , is the tithe barn, built in 1704, which today contains the fire station of the volunteer fire brigade and the rooms of the youth club.
