Castle Rekau ( Polish Pałac Rekowo Gorne ) is today as Hotel -occupied castle in Rekowo Górne, Puck County (District Puck) of the Polish province of Pomerania .

history

The present castle was built in 1871 in the eclectic style by Hagen von Sobowidz in the middle of the village. At that time it was one of the most representative buildings in the district. The von Mahnke family had the estate expanded with a distillery and a forge.

After the Second World War , the castle fell into disrepair. From 1994 the castle and the surrounding park were privately owned. The Darsluber Primeval Forest extends to the west , through which a hiking route leads to Krokowa (Krockow).
