Skottorp Castle

Skottorp Castle is located about 12 km southwest of the Swedish city ​​of Laholm in the Halland province .

The castle was built in the second half of the 17th century according to plans by the architect Nicodemus Tessin the Elder (1615–1681). In the 1820s it was rebuilt and modernized in the classical style. The interior consists of a well-preserved Empire interior . The castle was added to the list of Swedish cultural monuments in 1986.
