Pain conference

A pain conference is a therapeutic measure used to treat pain . Here, take expert of the suffering of pain patients of various medical specialties in a targeted manner. Together with the moderation of an experienced pain therapist , the specialists develop treatment recommendations that can then be suggested to the patient by the treating doctor . After the application, the success is checked.

Interdisciplinary pain conferences can consist of the following members:

• treating family doctor or specialist
• Moderator: pain therapist
• other subjects such as B. Psychiatrist , neurologist , anesthetist , orthopedist , psychologist and psychotherapist
