Blacksmith shop and house

The Oberneuland blacksmith's house is located in Bremen , Oberneuland district , Oberneulander Heerstraße 72. The houses were built in 1862/63 according to plans by Wilhelm Kaars. They have been under the protection of historical monuments in Bremen since 1996 .

history

The single-storey, clinkered half-timbered house of the forge with a saddle roof and planking in the gable triangle as well as the single-storey, plastered, late classicist house from 1863 with a small side extension and an entrance later inserted into the archway were designed for the blacksmith Wilhelm Kaars in the era of historicism Plans built.

Today (2018) the buildings are used for living as well as a locksmith's shop and forge.
