Bevel

The bevel also bevel , adjusting bevel or skew called, is a many trades used, adjustable angle for direct transfer of indefinite angles to workpieces. The bevel consists of a slotted arm and an adjustable tongue that can be opened and fixed at a certain angle with a locking screw - similar to a compass . Nestling is made entirely of wood or metal, as well as a combination of both.

A special type is the miter bevel , which, like a miter saw, can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically.

In Saxony, the folding rule ( folding rule ) is also known as a bevel.
