Cozy blanket

The blanket , Schnuffeldecke or security blanket is a common and very common transitional object ( Engl . Transitional Object , see Winnicott ). It helps the infant or toddler to accept the absence of the caregiver, and is a strong with feelings occupied property . It is of children like done with them and helps them, on the one hand to solve the caregiver and build the other hand, relations with their environment. In conflict situations , a transitional object can have a calming effect. A cozy blanket can maintain this meaning for adults and offer security and comfort in personal crises . The comic artist Charles M. Schulz provided Linus from the Peanuts with such a blanket and created the term security blanket , which is customary in English .
