The Schottenstein Stores Corporation (SB Capital Group), based in Columbus (Ohio), is a holding company for various companies belonging to the Schottenstein family.

Jerome and Jay Schottenstein are two key people in this holding company and also work as chairmen in several of the companies involved . Schottenstein Stores Corporation has a 62% stake in Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW) with around 427 locations; The holding company also owns shares in the American furniture manufacturer American Signature with around 125 branches and in the fashion company American Eagle Outfitters with around 39,600 employees.

The Schottenstein Stores Corporation achieved total sales of around three billion US dollars in 2012 . In 2006, the Schottenstein Stores Corporation took over 655 branches of the US supermarket chain Albertsons , which at that time employed around 234,000 people.

Also in 2006, Jerome Schottenstein and Jay Schottenstein financed the new Schottenstein National Campus for the Archeology of Israel in order to preserve the cultural heritage of the Land of Israel . The campus was planned by the architects Mosche Safdie in Jerusalem .
