Schra
Schra , an old Norse term ( skrõ / skræ ) originally means dry fur, parchment and then also legal texts written on it: certificate, legal book. From this are derived:
- the Schrae of the Soest city law
- the Novgorod Schra
- also Swedish: skrå , there skråväsen means derived from the guild or craft role guild or guild
- in Icelandic and Faroese skrá today means u. a. "List, register, directory".
