Shoemaker's Hammer

A shoemaker's hammer is a hammer with a slightly curved, round face, a wide fin and a relatively short handle. It is used by the shoemaker to shape and prepare the leather as well as to pin the leather on the shoe last , to pin and nail the shoe sole and the shoe heel .
