occupation

Love on Ice is a German feature film directed by Kurt Meisel in 1950 . The film started with the title Love on Ice and continued as men around Angelika .

action

The press photographer Angelika Langhoff stands between three admirers: the ice hockey striker Toni Staudtner, the radio reporter Kurt Frischauf and the ski jumper Birger Sörensen. However, the first place in her heart takes Peter. This supposed additional rival turns out to be Angelika's 6-year-old son. Encouraged by this, Staudtner made a decisive contribution to the success of his club at the German ice hockey championship. The childhood friends become a couple, especially since little Peter turns out to be their son.

production

Love on Ice was made in the Munich-Geiselgasteig film studios. The outdoor shots were taken in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, on the Zugspitze plateau and at the Schneefernerhaus. The film premiered on August 4, 1950 in Freiburg (crank). Photos of scenes, programs and posters can be seen under Heinz Erhardt Freunde .

criticism

The lexicon of international films described the film as pleasantly staged, light entertainment played in the winter sports environment of Garmisch and the Zugspitze.
