Albert Höcht

Albert Höcht (born June 29, 1906 in Munich ; † June 3, 1992 there ) was a German mountaineer and cameraman .

Life

Albert Höcht in 1934 as cameraman and climbers to participate in the by Günter Oskar Dyhrenfurth into led International Himalayan Expedition Karakoram selected. During this expedition, together with Hans Ertl , he managed the first ascent of the 7,422 meter high Sia Kangri (then Queen Mary Peak) on August 12, 1934 .
