SchulLV

SchulLV is a German-language online - learning platform and an app with original exam tasks of all states and school types, including solutions and tips as well as a digital textbook with tasks, scripts and video tutorials for the subjects mathematics , German , English , biology , chemistry , physics , history and geography . The offer is distributed over a website and an Android and iOS app for smartphones and tablets. To support this, SchulLV offers a YouTube channel that shows various learning videos on specific topics in mathematics, German, English, bio and chemistry. The target group are mainly students and teachers.

history

SchulLV was founded in October 2008 in Freiburg by the former student teacher Mathias Junker. The aim was to become the first digital learning directory for schools in German-speaking countries. The company name was initially MatheVZ. After a dispute with StudiVZ, MatheVZ was renamed MatheLV and finally SchulLV, where LV stands for learning directory. Today SchulLV has established itself at over 1,300 schools in Germany and represents a digital counterpart to conventional school books and exam preparation books . Today, the company is based in Karlsruhe.

Digital learning directory

SchulLV enables time and location-independent access to exercises, solutions, cheat sheets, learning videos and original exam questions from all federal states and school types from over eight subjects. The digital learning directory enables differentiation in lessons , so that specialist advisors from school authorities are always involved in further development. The content is available in HTML5 format and can be shared. Messages can be exchanged via a class bulletin board and files can be uploaded for use in class and at home.

App

On January 25, 2016, the iOS version of the SchulLV app was published in the App Store, the Android version was published on January 16, 2016 in the Google Play Store. Since July 6, 2017, there has also been an iOS version of a reading aid app that contains over 10 reading aids for high school-related readings and German classics. The apps are updated regularly, adding new content or functions. The content of the portal www.SchulLV.de and the apps are identical, but the apps have different functions such as offline availability (iOS version), search and filter functions, the creation of your own topic lists and the sharing of content.
