Tomer Aharonovich (born February 11, 1999 in Rishon LeZion ) is an Israeli ice hockey player who has been playing for the Philadelphia Revolution in the US youth league EHLP since 2017. His older brother Roey is also an Israeli international.
Career
Roey Aharonovich began his career with the Rishon Devils from his hometown, where he was first used in the second team. Since 2016 he has played with the club's first team in the Israeli ice hockey league . With the team from the Gush Dan he became Israeli national champion in 2017 . In 2017 he moved to the United States, where he plays in the youth league EHLP.
International
In the junior division, Aharonovich played for Israel at the U18 World Championships in 2015 , 2016 and 2017 as well as the U20 World Championships in 2017 and 2018 , where he and the Bulgarian Miroslaw Wassilew were the third best goal setter behind the Chinese Wang Jung and the Australian Aiden Sillato , both in the Division III.
He made his debut at the World Cup of Division II in 2017 in the men's national team of the Israelis and also played there in 2018 .
