The school Odenkirchen with house stands in the district Odenkirchen in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ), Schmidt-Bleibtreu Street 66th

The building was built in 1881. It was entered in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach under No. S 008 on September 24, 1985 .

The Protestant primary school is located in the center of Odenkirchen.

architecture

The current elementary school is the extension completed in 1907. The school consists of two old sections. On the one hand, this is the remaining part of the former teachers' college, a four-axis brick building on three floors and a gable roof with a stepped gable . On the other hand, the big expansion of 1907.

This building is facing Schmidt-Bleibtreu-Straße and shows 18: 2 axes . A beautiful and typical public building has been preserved for the district of Odenkirchen. Because of the good state of preservation and for reasons of the history of the district, the building is worth protecting.
