The school building on Landskronastraße is located in Bremen , Burglesum district, Burgdamm district , Landskronastraße 46. The buildings were built in 1963 and 1964 according to plans by Rudi Richter and Willi Kläner. They have been a listed building in Bremen since 2014 .

history

For the new development area Marßeler Feld with around 2500 residential units, 1500 of which belong to Gewoba , the primary and secondary schools were built in 1963 and 1964 in the form typical for the time in the midst of the residential buildings on an area of ​​23,000 m². The two-storey facility consists of the main building with a hall, two auxiliary buildings, three class pavilions with 8 classrooms each as well as the gym and a single-storey connecting building. It was realized in two construction phases by Gewoba as general contractor .

The bronze sculpture Mother and Child from 1964 in the school yard is by the sculptor Alice Peters , who created her works in Bremen from 1960 to 1975.

Today's primary school had around 230 pupils as an all-day school in 2018.

The State Office for Monument Preservation Bremen found: "In addition, the Richter & Kläner office made an important contribution to school construction in the post-war period."
