The former schoolhouse in Wippenhausen (Freising district) is a listed building.

history

The first schoolhouse in Wippenhausen was built in 1824. This no longer stands today. The new schoolhouse was built in 1904 in the center of the village on Pfarrweg. There the students were taught in two spacious classrooms in grades one to four and five to eight. In 1969 the school was closed. Since then, the students from Wippenhausen have attended the elementary school in Kirchdorf an der Amper . After the dissolution, the school house was sold and is now used as a private residence.

description

The building is a two-storey saddle roof with neo-baroque curved gables. The corners of the house are emphasized by pilasters . The area is surrounded by a school wall with an integrated school bell.
