The Protected Areas Act , full title: Act on the restriction of real estate for military defense , is a German law from 1956. It regulates areas that are used for defense purposes , including by armed forces of foreign states in the federal territory .
It regulates tolerance and restriction obligations for use, but also claims for compensation for the landowner (§ 12 ff.).
It is forbidden to photograph an area marked as a protected area or its facilities in whole or in part without permission or to make drawings, sketches or other pictorial representations of it (Section 5, Paragraph 2).
There are implementation regulations for the Protected Areas Act at state level , e.g. B. the ordinance on the assessment authorities according to the protection area law of the state of Brandenburg of July 24, 1996 ( GVBl. II p. 579).
