Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship
The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship is a non-governmental organization founded in 1998 by the couple Klaus and Hilde Schwab with the aim of promoting social entrepreneurship .
With the award “Social Entrepreneur of the Year”, the foundation honors people and organizations who (in their view) pursue social goals with innovative ideas, products or offers and proceed in an entrepreneurial manner. The award winners will henceforth be promoted in the network. The foundation also runs training seminars for social entrepreneurs.
