Schwarze Puppen is a German trance project consisting of Andreas Krämer and Thomas Pogadl . The duo is also known as the Russian mafia , Solid Sleep and a number of other pseudonyms.

history

Andreas Krämer and Thomas Pogadl both started producing music in the early 1990s. Krämer founded the Thai Records label at the age of 16. He later published for a variety of other music labels such as Construct Rhythm , Overdose and Universal Records . Thomas Pogadl released his first single on Tetsuo Records and later worked for Drizzly Records for a long time. There the two met for the first time.

The duo had a hit with “Schwarze Puppen”, which reached number 49 in the German single charts. The follow-up single "Tanz!" With the voice of Nina Hagen was also very successful. The two also produced under a variety of other pseudonyms. The most famous of these are Russian Mafia and Solid Sleep .
