A house of the Blackheads (also Blackheads House) is the meeting house of the Brotherhood of Blackheads , an association of unmarried merchants in the Hanseatic cities of the Baltic States . The name is derived from Saint Mauritius , the always dark-skinned patron saint of the brotherhood. This brotherhood only existed in old Livonia , in today's Estonia and Latvia .
